In “altares”, I have used the concept of an alter as a starting point. An alter, a holy and personal place, which you can see used in Mexico during the “día de los muertos” (the day of the dead) celebration.   I have, on the basis of this concept, created three alters where I carry out a performance for each one. My work is about the relationship between time, place and man. It is based on human experiences in a globalized world. Nostalgia, the course of time, identity and the relationships between man and object are all subjects I address in my work.
