From birth, our skin is impregnated with the daily events that happen around us. Every act, every experience, even time leaves a scar on us. Our skin and physique transforms itself in the platform, in the canvas for the scars. The canvas for the evidence of the passing of time and its events. These scars are a reflection of our memories, our life experiences and nostalgia in itself.   Through the violent act of cutting and consequently reconstructing the dress, I make evident in its plasticity a wound which through sewing takes form of a recent scar. The scars being the reflection of our memories, our life experiences and nostalgia in itself.
