| Old rejected letters, are the base of what are these three video performances with each their installation. In “extractions (of letters)” I explore the relation between people and objects, and the importance of the object in itself. Where does the object come from? What remains in the object after its use? How was the place where it was placed? These are questions I try to answer by extracting as much as I can of these old letters, so I can recreate their surroundings. To then create three performances where I read, write, tear and sew. |
